The 12 Days of Christmas Guest Post

Today I am visiting Suz of Sewpony for The 12 Days of Christmas series. I invite you to come on over to see what I sewed for my daughter's Christmas outfit for this year. And be sure to check out all the posts December 1 - 12 (I highly recommend seeing what Sewpony, craftstorming and Sewing Like Mad have already made, you won't be disappointed).

You've done such a lovely job!! The glittery dress and practical, warm coat is a great combo. I'm loving seeing what everyone is coming up with...no just to finish my own garments! Well done - must feel great to have that all done. x

It is super nice to have this all done, now she can wear it to all the events we have the whole month of December, in fact she already wore it yesterday when we went to a gingerbread house decorating event.
I look forward to seeing what YOU make :)
It's gorgeous! Could you tell me where you found the sequin fabric and if you used special needles to sew it?

my 4 year old would DIE if I made this dress for her.

Then you just have to find yourself some sequin fabric ;)
The perfect Christmas look! And I bet she'll get a lot of use out of the jacket too!

I'm hoping she'll be able to wear it for at least 2-3 winters, the sleeves are long with generous fold over cuffs, so lots of room to grow.
What a stylish way to celebrate the holidays! Both the dress and coat are so beautiful!
