this sweet little dress pattern is from leila & ben
i already made C a Granny Smith apple green one for Christmas
but this time i wanted to make her one using a vintage pillowcase with hand embroidered blue birds on a branch of pink cherry blossoms, i also like the crochet lace trim (i got the pillowcase for $12 at a local vintage shop) - using the sz 3 pattern i was able to fit the sleeves at the top of the pillowcase, so no extra fabric was needed & there was very little pillowcase leftover...
it turned out a little on the big side, so she will have to grow into it... i'm also thinking it might look better with a pink ribbon belt - empire waist?see you for day 4 !
