Doll Carrier

18-inch doll carrier by nest full of eggs
Another item to cross off my list for the Little Things to Sew: Cover to Cover Challenge which is going on right now over at Bartacks and Singletack until August 31st, 2014.

This doll carrier is such a great little sewing project, the results are wonderful. I really don't know why I didn't sew this one up sooner. I think this is my 2nd favorite project from the book (after the art smock). It is the perfect size for an 18-inch doll.

It's beautiful, Rachel! And your daughter looks so happy with it! I've been meaning to sew a doll carrier myself too, but Norah never ever plays with her dolls - she's a cars girl... I'm really happy with that, except when I see projects like yours!
This is awesome! My daughter would love one. Oh, and I love seeing the bed in your pretty purple room again!
Love your doll carrier!
I also love the idea of working through a craft book and making all of the projects!
There are far too many craft books on my shelf that I have been keeping around as inspiration and haven't made a single thing from.
I can't wait to see more!
You did a great job on this doll carrier, and it fits the doll really well.
Turned out so nicely!
