More Kids Clothes Week sewing. My second garment is complete. I had the pleasure of sewing up a new pattern by Suz of
sewpony called the
Sunday picnic dress. There are many options with the pattern and I decided to sew a sleeveless, collarless one without buttons. This dress includes some of my favorite details with little girl dresses: invisible zipper, pockets, and piping.
I actually did iron the hem, it just looks like I didn't. The only change I would make with this dress is that I think it would look really nice with piping around the armholes and it would be something that would be easy to add. I had fun working with border fabric with this one and come to think of it, I think this is the first time I've ever used border fabric??

Mulberry Tunic which I hope to get done in the next few days. Back to sewing!
